“TOTEM POLE SUIT” .  THE WORLD OF JUMPSUITS.

 Original name: Totem Pole Suit

 Other names: Gipsy Suit

Description : It was a dark blue jumpsuit with white puffed sleeves.

He also wore a choker that was part of the suit.

 The Belts he used were:

 “Red Armadillo Belt”

 “Original Belt”

This costume made its debut during the July 1975 tour, but when Elvis first wore it, he didn’t wear it with the original belt.  He wore it with a belt that was originally designed for another suit, the “Navy Blue Two-Piece with Red Armadillo”.

The original belt he did wear with this suit during his December 1975 stint at the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.

As always, the design of the suits was by Bill Bellew, who from 1972 had the help of Gene Doucette, who was an embroidery specialist, and would also design the most elaborate suits.
