This is the short film that Bill Randle alluded to when introducing Elvis in his debut on The Dorseys’ ‘Stage Show’ in 1956.
Elvis set list:
MYSTERY TRAIN
THAT’S ALL RIGHT
BLUE MOON OF KENTUCKY
GOOD ROCKIN’ TONIGHT
I FORGOT TO REMEMBER TO FORGET
The film remains lost to this day. Elvis did two shows on this day: at the Brooklyn High School Auditorium, Cleveland at 1:30 PM.
The second concert that day was at St. Michael’s Hall, Cleveland at 8:00 PM. Re-introduced by Randle and according to him, the program was a real success.
Elvis broke the strings of his guitar and even smashed it on the ground, while the audience went wild. There was even police help to get Elvis out.
