The photo was taken on July 4, 1956, at his home at 1034 Audubon Drive in Memphis, minutes before he was taking some fans and neighbors for a walk in the area.
Elvis had just arrived from New York from his iconic “New York to Memphis” train ride. At night he would offer one of his most legendary shows in Memphis.
A concert that would make history… the one in Russwood Park.
