Follow That Dream was the release corresponding to the soundtrack of the Elvis film made for the Mirisch Brothers Company and which would be released in 1962.

Recorded at Nashville’s Studio B in July 1961, this EP contains 4 of the 6 tracks originally recorded. Finally the two remaining songs were discarded (One of them, “A Whistling Tune” would be re-recorded for the movie Kid Galahad). Perhaps the first three songs are the best and the fourth is not up to par, everything and that, it’s nice to listen to.

Publicado en Abril de 1962 el EP llegó al puesto número 15 en listas Billboard vendiendo sobre las 500.000 cópias lo que le permitió obtener el disco de oro. Actualmente Follow That Dream está catalogado por la RIAA como disco de platino.
