ELVIS PRESLEY BIOGRAPHY
Elvis is deeply saddened by the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King on April 4, 1968. Elvis has been a longtime admirer of his and often quotes his famous phrase “I Have a Dream.” Just a short time after Robert Kennedy is assassinated on June 6, 1968. Elvis’s thoughts and feelings about the loss of both Dr. King and Robert Kennedy lead to a song that will be written for Elvis to perform on his next special. of TV.
