ELVIS FTD – NEXT RELEASE
As part of the acclaimed ‘Sessions’ series, FTD is pleased to announce the release of THE HOW GREAT TOU ART SESSIONS 5-CD Set.
Recorded in May and June 1996. The triple-platinum winning album also brought Elvis his first Grammy Award for “Best Sacred Performance.”
Aside from excellent Gospel renditions of “Run On,” “So High,” and “Where No One Stands Alone” among many others, the sessions also spawned the secular hits “If Every Day Was Like Christmas,” “Love Letters,” and ” Indescribably Blue“.
The format will be 8-inch, and includes a 24-page booklet with detailed liner notes, recording data, and memorabilia.
The album stands as Elvis planned prior to RCA Victor’s decision to add the ’65 hit “Crying In The Chapel.”
This recording, along with the outtakes, is already in the previous from FTD’s “The His Hand In Mine Sessions“.
