INFORMATION

Possibly RCA was beginning to prepare the ground for the future spiritual album, the second in Elvis’s career, which would be published in 1967 whose recordings would begin at the end of May of that year 66. Be that as it may, this new single by the king of rock it included again two gospel numbers originally included on His Hand In Mine (1961).

Its A-side, Milky White Way, was taken from take number seven and its B-side from take number four. None would enter the lists. Elvis would re-record the song Swing Down Sweet Chariot in 1968 for inclusion on the soundtrack to the 1969 film The Trouble with Girls (And How To Get Into It).
