INFORMATION

Elvis is Johnny, a singer who, along with his girlfriend Frankie (Donna Douglas), works as an entertainer on a typical boat sailing the Mississippi River. His obsession with gambling, together with his little fortune, increases his debts and complicates his relationship with Frankie. The prediction of a gypsy ensuring that Johnny’s luck will change when he finds his lucky charm represented in a red-haired woman, something that he will constantly search for our idol.

Elvis embarks on his twenty-first film in Hollywood to the rhythm of jazz; a film that would gross 2.75 million dollars despite its budget being 4.5 million.
