INFORMATION
Last single released by Elvis for the Sun label before signing with RCA. Its A-side, I Forgot To Remember To Forget, would be number one for 5 weeks on the Memphis Billboard Country & Western Singles Chart, remaining on no less than forty charts. Mystery Train would not go beyond number eleven. It is rumored that it was on July 11 of that year 55 when Elvis recorded in a single day the two songs that make up the single in addition to the version that we know of Trying To Get To You. Elvis Presley’s last session for the Sun Records label would take place in November 1955, in which the song When It Rains, It Really Pours would be recorded, it seems to be the result of a jam.
