Second appearance of the king of rock on the big screen, this time playing the leading role. In Loving You, Elvis (Deke Rivers) is a gas station worker with a great voice. One day he meets Glenda (Lizabeth Scott), a publicist, and Tex (Wendell Corey), a country musician. The two individuals go in search of new talents offering fame and fortune.
With a very good soundtrack and a plot that could recall the beginnings of Elvis’ own career, Loving You is the first color film of the artist’s career, in addition to being the first of the collaborations between the singer and the producer. Hal B. Wallis.
