Wherever you are, you’ll be playing your guitar like you used to. Your guitar was always a part of you. You will remember the day you met Elvis, when he came to your house because Sam Phillips wanted you to give him your opinion about the boy, and you agreed to go to Sun Records… and there, on July 5, 1954 it all began. Or the day you loaded the car with instruments, like you always did, to go on tour and Elvis said he was driving. You said he drove very well, but he was a little absent-minded. You and Billy fell asleep and when you woke up the next day, you were in the same place. Elvis had gotten confused and turned around, and after all night traveling you were still at the starting point!…
When Elvis entered Scotty Moore’s life and they crossed paths, his life would change radically. Elvis, Scotty and Bill Black became legends.
Scotty is considered one of the best guitarists and pioneer of Rock and Roll.
A great man and a great artist. A very special person, who when he played, nothing else existed in the world, only him and his music. With his own and very personal style he left an indelible mark on the history of music.
