INFORMATION

For side A of this single, two songs included in the soundtrack of the movie Tickle Me were chosen again. I’m Yours, a song whose master was composed of several takes such as the one that included only Elvis‘s voice, another with only instrumentation and another with the part in which Elvis recites. The theme managed to reach number eleven on the Billboard Magazine Hot 100.

(It’s A) Long Lonely Highway, its B-side, was curiously released in a different take than the version that appeared on the Kissin’ Cousins soundtrack. The master, take number two, was chosen as a bonus track for the LP that included the soundtrack. Take number one appeared as the B-side of this single. I couldn’t get on the lists.
