Published in June 1970, On Stage is the second live album by Elvis Presley. On this occasion the list of songs belongs to the concerts recorded during the second round of concerts at the Internacional Hotel in Las Vegas that took place between January/February from 1970 (with the exception of the songs Runaway and Yesterday, which come from the August ’69 recordings). The repertoire changes completely compared to the previous 1969 release where Elvis performed more songs from his first or more recent recordings. Here we find Elvis performing more contemporary songs by other artists, which demonstrates his great versatility. Includes the hit single “The Wonder Of You”.

The album received good reviews, and reached number 13 on the Billboard charts. Sales were equally satisfactory, reaching 500,000 copies, thus obtaining the gold record. Currently “On Stage” is listed as a platinum album.
