We’re learning more and more details about Baz Luhrmann’s new film
Baz Luhrmann’s “EPiC” looks set to be the hottest release of 2025. And perhaps even the last few years. The Australian director’s special documentary will focus on previously unreleased footage shot for the 1970 films “That’s The Way It Is” and “On Tour,” released two years later.

The film will premiere in a few weeks, during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), which will take place from September 4-14.
The official trailer for the film and the first still from the production have just appeared on the festival’s official website. The photo shows Elvis taking the stage at the International Hotel in Las Vegas during a dinner show on August 14, 1970. It’s important to note that this is completely new and never-before-seen footage!
The film itself, according to information on the festival website, is expected to last approximately ninety-six minutes.
“ Baz Luhrmann’s extraordinary documentary may be the most moving account of Elvis Presley’s life and career ever made ,” TIFF wrote on its website. “ That’s because it includes previously lost footage from his historic 1970s Las Vegas sojourn .”
So all that remains is to wait for the first reviews and… hopefully, the soon Polish premiere of this “EPIC” work.
