INFORMATION
Released in August 1958 and recorded at the Radio Recorders studios, the King Creole LP is perhaps the most consistent soundtrack Elvis ever recorded.
It was one of the last recordings Elvis made in the 1950s before enlisting. In fact, he had to ask for a postponement to enter the ranks and thus be able to make the film. With consistent themes such as the one that gives the film its title, “King Creole“, Trouble” or the hit single “Hard Headed Woman” we are facing a soundtrack that equals the quality of the plot of the film. The album reached the 2nd of the Billboard charts, getting the Gold record that the RIAA still grants today.
