Information

The EP “A Touch Of Gold Vol.3” was published in February 1960. Elvis‘ return was almost over, but it was decided to release a new volume of this series. The format would be practically the same, with hit songs that they had been part of a single, and a song on the Sun label.

Commercially, this release, unlike the two previous volumes, did enter the Billboard charts, reaching a respectable number 17.

Sales were very low, reaching 50,000 copies, which highlighted the need for the returning from military service, Elvis will begin recording sessions to offer something new to his eager and loyal fans.
