Information
Ross Carpenter (Elvis Presley), a fishing guide living in the Hawaiian Islands, decides to buy the Westwind, the boat that he and his father built and that currently belongs to his boss, after learning that he is retiring and moving to the state of Arizona.
Again a Hal B. Wallis production and the third time that Norman Taurog has directed Elvis after doing so in GI Blues and Blue Hawaii. In Girls! Girls! Girls! Once again, they bet on the paradisiacal settings of the Hawaiian Islands, where Elvis can unleash a large number of themes, among which the classic Return To Sender stands out.
As a curiosity to note that the film was nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of best musical film.
