ELVIS HISTORY – PICTURES
Elvis in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Terminal Station Coffee Shop, on July 4, 1956.
The train from New York to Memphis, where Elvis was traveling back home -at 1034 Audubon Drive- makes a stop to rest and have breakfast.
Elvis is waiting for his eggs and sandwich at the Terminal Station Coffee Shop. On this occasion, Elvis looks at his photographer and travel companion, Alfred Wertheimer, something that was not usual for him, with a mixture of tiredness and complicity. With that intimate, pensive and overwhelming look that Elvis never lost and that we can always see in the depths of his retina.
A stop for breakfast while changing trains during a long and tiring journey. But his appearance, as always… impeccable. Impeccably dressed, his hair impeccable, and his demeanor and elegance impeccable, despite an exhausting journey.
Tired and wanting to get home to rest and be with his family, before giving his concert in Russwood Park, that same night.
