INFORMATION
The first and only Christmas song recorded by Elvis in the 60s. A composition by his friend and bodyguard Red West that had the privilege of appearing as the A-side of this single, although unfortunately it failed to enter the North American charts. On the contrary, in the United Kingdom it achieved a creditable ninth position in the charts. It is unknown exactly which takes were chosen as the master for both the instrumental recording and the vocal part.
For the B-side, a theme from the soundtrack of It Happened At The World’s Fair (1963), How Would You Like To Be, was rescued. Master take taken from cut number six. It did not enter the lists.
