INFORMATION

The career of the king of rock began with this one whose side A had been recorded almost by chance. An improvised performance by Elvis during a break in the recording session together with the complicity of Scotty Moore on guitar and Bill Black on double bass resulted in the Tupelo singer’s first classic. Both songs would enter the Billboard Country & Western Singles Chart in Memphis; That’s All Right reaching number four as its best position and Blue Moon Of Kentucky reaching number one on September 1 of that year 54. In addition, it was the first Elvis song that would manage to sneak into the regional Billboard charts, being number six in Nashville. and three in New Orleans.

On July 5, Elvis also records Harbor Lights and I Love You Because.
