Charlie Hodge and Elvis Presley

This handwritten note and track list is believed to be the last written in his handwriting.

He’s at TCB Stationery, and he asks Charlie Hodge to make sure he has the lyrics to these songs on hand (he says “…get these” – underlining it) because he wants to sing them.

In a quick interview with Charlie Hodge conducted on August 16, 1977, he comments that he had been talking to Elvis about new songs that he wanted to include in his repertoire.

Would you be referring to these?

Presley is believed to have given this note to Dick Grob to deliver to Charlie. Apparently he wanted to do them on the tour that started on August 17th.
