Another song from the Sun cover, curiously, from the first recording session done professionally by Elvis. It already saw the light of day in March 1956 when it was included in the artist’s first full-length album. It is unknown which take was used for the master. He didn’t get on the lists.
It is also not known what take was used to make the master of Trying To Get To You, another of the songs recorded by the Tupelo native in Sam Phillips‘ company. Another of the usual themes in Elvis’ live shows throughout his career. It failed to enter the Billboard charts.
