“The Other Sides – Elvis Worldwide Gold Awards Hits Vol. 2” was released in August 1971. It was a quadruple LP that on this occasion contained a good part of the B-sides of the singles from his entire career as well as songs from his LP’s. It was a way of bringing together many songs that in their original format appeared separately in a single release and giving a new product to fans, who until then could not have all these Elvis songs.
This compilation reached number 120 on the Billboard charts, and its initial sales did not reach 100,000 copies. Over time this LP has become a gold record awarded by the RIAA.
