Separate Ways was released in January 1973 again on the Camden label (RCA). Motivated by the recent success of the previous release (“Burning Love And Hits From His Movies“), they now took advantage of the recently released single “Separate Ways/Always On My Mind” and added 8 more songs, this time a mix of studio songs from the 50’s and 60’s, again without a chronological order and with a cover lacking style. Creativity was conspicuous by its absence.

Despite this, sales of this LP initially reached 300,000, a figure not inconsiderable, taking into account the type of release it was. Commercially it reached position 46 on the Billboard charts.

Currently the LP “Separate Ways” is classified by the RIAA as a platinum record.
