Information

Released in July 1958, the “King Creole Vol.2” EP contained four more songs from the “King Creole” LP.
As with previous releases, the duplicity of themes in relation to the LP, and the non-inclusion of new material, did not matter to the fans who devoured whatever release there was. Commercially, it had initial sales of over 500,000 copies and on Billboard charts, was again at the top, reaching number 1. Currently “King Creole Vol.2” is listed by the RIAA as platinum.
