Elvis answered, as usual, kindly to the countless questions, some of them very personal, that the journalists asked him during the interview.
Before donning his gold lamé jacket to enter the stadium, Elvis appeared impeccably dressed in black pants and shoes, a white shirt with a handsome black and silver tie pin held on, and a smart light blue tuxedo.
Following the press conference, Elvis, Scotty Moore, Bill Black and DJ Fontana performed, their last stop on a four-day, five-city tour of the Pacific Northwest, including Spokane, Vancouver, Tacoma and Seattle. It was his second tour that year.
The more than 14,000 crazed fans who attended the show chanted and chanted: ‘We want Elvis! We want Elvis!”

Elvis was able to complete a forty-minute show only after the police quelled the conditions of serious riots caused by fans, as was customary at his concerts.
