The legendary songwriting duet Pomus & Shuman signed both sides of the sixth single released by Elvis Presley in the 1960s. (Marie’s The Name) His Latest Flame, its A-side, reached number four on September 18 on charts such as the most privileged. In the United Kingdom it manages to climb to first position in the charts. The master take was number eight.

Little Sister, B-side, makes its chart debut on August 21, 1961 and achieves a fifth position on Billboard’s Hot 100 charts on October 2. From 1970 until 1972 Elvis used to combine this song with Get Back by The Beatles.

Currently the single is a gold record.
