The song, performed at the request of Vernon Presley, was recorded in the Jungle Room of Elvis’ Graceland home in February 1976 and was Elvis’ penultimate studio recording, as featured on the 1976 album From EP Boulevard.
The disc is unique and appears to be a high grade methylcellulose metal based lacquer acetate cut to a 10″ size.
The label is a custom study done by RCA Nashville and is hand annotated in red pen detailing the artist and song; The acetate is mounted in black with a cream border, housed in glass, and magnificently presented in a heavy wooden frame with decorative gold inlays.
