INFORMATION

Published in August 1965, the original title of this LP was to be Today Only!. Finally, and after it was made public that the purpose of this album was to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the signing of the contract between Elvis and RCA, decided to modify it to Elvis For Everyone.

Unfortunately it was not an album with recent studio material or that put Elvis into the new and varied musical panorama that existed both in the US and in the UK. The positive thing about this album was that it had mostly unpublished material and that it came from different Elvis recording sessions, both from the 50’s and the 60’s.

Everything and contain good songs like Your Cheatin’Heart, Finders Keepers, Memphis Tennessee or I Met Her Today, the album again did not achieve the expected sales (which was already beginning to become the usual norm) and reached number 10 on the Billboard charts.
