THE MAKING OF BLUE HAWAII
“The Making Of Blue Hawaii” is planned as the next book and CD combination.
The first book is larger and consists of 378 pages, “The Movie”, includes newly discovered photos (according to the announcement), details of deleted scenes, script pages, schedule, notes, contracts and cast and crew memorabilia.
The second book, “The Music”, features 85 pages of photos, documents and detailed information about the shoot, including pages from a newly discovered record of the recording sessions.
The 4 CDs contain the recordings of the soundtrack, including 50 previously unreleased takes (according to the announcement).
The audio has been remixed to stereo from the original 3-track tapes and first sequenced in the order it was recorded.
Finally, it comes with a double vinyl EP at 33 rpm for collectors.
