New Elvis single with new themes and not related to the soundtracks of his movies. On side A, a song belonging to those recording sessions on June 12 in which he records, along with this Indescribably Blue, the vocal part of If Every Day Was Like Christmas and I’ll Remember You. The instrumentation was recorded two days before on the same stage. In the US it manages to reach position No. 33 on the hit list. In the UK it is number 21. The master take is taken from cut number two (vocal part).
Fools Fall In Love, belonging to those recording sessions that would result in the second gospel album of Elvis’s career (How Great Thou Art, 1967) is the result of take number five. It failed to get on the lists.
