INFORMATION
After seven years, Elvis was again at No. 1 in the United States, being the seventeenth and last of his career on the Billboard. Suspicious Minds has become one of the biggest hits of the singer’s career, also a regular in his live shows since his debut at the International on July 31 of that year 69 until 1974. The master was obtained from take number eight in addition to the production work that was carried out on January 24, February 22, March 18 and August 7.
The B-side, You’ll Think Of Me, also appeared on Back In Memphis, an LP included in the double album From Memphis To Vegas / From Vegas To Memphis. The take used for the master is unknown. It did not enter the lists. It was cut number 23 that was chosen to make the master. Currently the single is platinum.
