“She’s Not You” reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 13 on the R&B chart. In the UK, the single was number 1.

It was written by Doc Pomus in collaboration with Leiber and Stoller, all of whom are regular Elvis songwriters. 

The choirs of the Jordanaires and Millie Kirkham shine with their own light. Millie was known as the “Nashville Soprano” and became affectionately known as the fifth member of the Jordanaires.

Elvis seduces us with this song and with his beautiful voice of glass and velvet, from the early 60s, in absolute fullness of beauty and vocal sweetness.
